Change Digital recruitment is working with one of the UK’s most recognised consumer retail to recruit an Interim Senior PMO Manager. This business provides a range of consumer-focused financial services products ranging from loans and credit cards through to household and motor insurance.
The have extensive plans for 2022 to improve on project delivery across the business and in order to implement this they’re keen to recruit an experienced Senior PMO Manager to join the team for approximately 6 months (although this could be extended).
The successful candidate will be responsible for
Managing day to day operational activities within the PMO
Providing guidance on PMO policies and procedures
Supporting department leads and project delivery staff to define, prioritise and develop projects
Providing financial reporting and guidance on project budgets to various stakeholders
Evaluating and updating PMO policies and procedures to improve on project delivery
Experience and skills required for the role
A proven track record of leading and developing a PMO function
Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills
Highly organised with attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A project management certification
Knowledge of Agile project management methodology would be highly advantageous
Experience within retail banking or financial service would be desirable
