Change Digital recruitment is working with one of the UK’s most recognised consumer retail to recruit an Change Portfolio Manager. This business provides a range of consumer-focused financial services products ranging from loans and credit cards through to household and motor insurance.
They have extensive plans for 2022 to improve on project delivery across the business and in order to implement this they’re keen to recruit an experienced Portfolio Manager to join the team for approximately 6 months (although this could be extended) to provide support to Project Delivery staff.
The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively supporting approximately 20 project delivery staff across several business areas with a focus on managing resources and ensuring projects have the required staff and resources.
Responsibilities will include
Assuring portfolio and project performance through appropriate progress review and reporting
Capability and support – providing expert support and transferring knowledge and capability to stakeholders, projects and programmes; and contribute to development of good practice
Experience and skills required
Substantial experience of portfolio and/or PMO, and programme or project management, with experience in reporting to Executive level on strategically critical projects
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong and lasting professional relationships at all levels and able to shape and influence senior management decision making
Highly organised with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
